Equipment

  • Mixing bowl, measuring cups and spoons, rubber spatula, baking sheet, parchment paper, cookie scoop or spoon, cooling rack.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup natural peanut butter or other natural nut butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder leavening agent

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the natural peanut butter, sugar, egg, and baking powder.
  • Mix until a smooth dough forms.
  • Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto a prepared baking sheet.
  • Leave a little space between each cookie.
  • Bake until the cookies are lightly golden.
  • Allow them to cool for several minutes before serving.

  • Spoon flour into measuring cups instead of scooping directly from the bag when using gluten-free flour in other recipes.
