- 1 lb 450 g ground beef chuck (80/20)
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- Caramelized onions optional
- Swiss cheese or blue cheese optional

- Lettuce and tomato optional
Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F–400°F / 190°C–205°C).
Divide ground beef chuck into 4 equal portions.
Form patties slightly larger than the buns and make a small indentation in the center.
Season both sides with kosher salt and black pepper.
Grill for 4-5 minutes on the first side.
Flip and cook another 3-4 minutes until internal temperature reaches 155°F–160°F.
Let burgers rest for a few minutes.
Assemble with buns and desired toppings.
Serve immediately.
